If there is no entry for the WLAN listed under Network Adapters, check if there is an entry for “Others” and see if it is there.Ĭheck if it is listed under the “hidden” devices click on the View tab and select “show hidden devices”Ģ.) If it is not shown at all in Device Manager, start the laptop and go into BIOS and check if there is an entry, usually it is under the Advanced or Security tab which allow you to enable/disable I/O devices and see if the WLAN is disabled there. Scroll to to find the wireless drivers and then download the drivers appropriate to your particular make of card. Here’s a link to the drivers for your laptop if you can’t get online with the laptop.

You can also check its’ status by right click on the WLAN entry, select Properties and view what is written in the Status Box in the General Tab If there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the entry, right click on the entry and select update drivers and follow the prompts. If there is a red cross next to the entry, right click on the entry and select “enable” and then check if it works. Scroll down to network adapters, click on the + sign to expand the entry list and find the WLAN adapter. To get to Device Manager, in Win10 right click on the Windows start button (left side of Taskbar) and select the Device Manager link.
