In my opinion they removed the useless parts of OP genesis and add more stuff which make it fun to play. Sadly Evolution seems to omit and leave out a lot of things that made JPOG fun. It would have made a good base, it just needed modernising in terms of engine and graphics and of course a whole bunch of new content adding. The more I have seen over the last few days of Evolution the more I'm actually a bit disappointed that they didn't take JPOG and build and expand upon that.
